Community Involvement

The Crossings Animal Sanctuary, Inc. located in Washington Crossing, PA, is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization begun in February 2009. In addition to building Bucks County’s first no-kill sanctuary, its mission is to provide quality care and a loving home for every dog and cat in Bucks County and the surrounding area.

Their Mission...To provide a yearly celebration funded by local patrons, advertisers and corporate sponsorship, run by volunteers,at little, and in most cases, no cost too the public. Starting each November, meetings are open to the public and held the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Library. All citizens are invited to attend for support through ideas, donations or personal assistance. The festival will include interesting and fun activites for all ages, including, but not limited to, athletic, educational, health,informational, cultural, environmental and enjoyable entertainment.

Sink or Swim Philadelphia, a 501c3, assists people in the Philadelphia area who are uninsured and underinsured with necessary medical expenses via Facebook and web-donors. Connecting those who need help with those who care enough to give!
